1. Acceptance of These Terms

By visiting our website, booking an appointment online, purchasing a gift card, or bringing your pet in for grooming, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services or website. These terms apply to all pet parents who interact with Cori's Creative Grooming, whether in English or in Spanish.

2. About Cori's Creative Grooming

Cori's Creative Grooming is a locally owned, all-breed dog and cat grooming shop located on Coral Way in Miami's Shenandoah neighborhood. We have been serving Miami pet parents for 30 years. We groom all breeds, all coats, and we take cats. We work in English and Spanish — write or call in either one and we will answer in that language.

3. Services

We offer a catalog of grooming services for dogs and cats, including full grooms, trim-ups, baths and nails, de-matting, de-shedding, add-on spa treatments, nail clip and grind, ear cleaning, gland expression, teeth brushing, cosmetic dental cleaning, and cat grooming. Prices are published by size and coat type. Additional charges — such as de-matting, de-shedding on multi-coat dogs, or extra care and handling — are quoted before we begin, never added as a surprise at pickup.

  • Pricing is confirmed at booking or at drop-off, based on your pet's breed, weight, and coat condition.
  • De-matting ($10–$40) is quoted after we see the coat. We will present the options — brush it out or shave it down — and you decide. No judgment.
  • Extra Care & Handling ($10–$20) is charged when a pet needs more time, more breaks, or a slower pace. We will tell you before we start.
  • Cosmetic dental cleaning ($150) is a surface cleaning for appearance only. No anesthesia is used. It is not a veterinary procedure or treatment of any kind.
  • We confirm the cut — length on the body, face, feet, and tail — before the clippers come out. If you have a photo of the cut you want, bring it or send it ahead.

We reserve the right to stop a groom at any point if a pet shows signs of significant stress or if continuing would not be safe for the pet or our staff. In that case, you will be charged only for the work completed.

4. Online Appointments and Bookings

You may book an appointment through our website. By booking, you confirm that:

  • The information you provide about your pet — breed, approximate weight, coat condition, and any known behavioral or health considerations — is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
  • You will arrive at or near your scheduled time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible at +1 (305) 858-8633 or corisgroomingmiami@gmail.com.
  • Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a requirement to prepay for future appointments.

Appointments are confirmed by Cori's Creative Grooming. An online booking request is not a guaranteed reservation until we confirm it.

5. In-Store Pickup

Some services or products may be arranged for in-store pickup at our Coral Way location. When your pet or order is ready, we will contact you using the information you provided at booking. Pets not picked up within a reasonable time after notification may incur an additional holding fee. We are a grooming shop, not a boarding or daycare facility.

6. Gift Cards

We sell digital gift cards through our website. Please read the following before purchasing:

  • Gift cards are issued in the amount selected at purchase.
  • Gift cards are redeemable toward grooming services at Cori's Creative Grooming.
  • Gift cards are non-refundable and have no cash value.
  • Cori's Creative Grooming is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misused gift card codes. Treat your gift card code like cash.
  • Gift cards do not expire, but their value is subject to the pricing in effect at the time of redemption.

7. Payments and Refunds

  • Prices are quoted up front. Final charges reflect the services performed and any add-ons confirmed before the groom began.
  • Payment is due at pickup or at the time of service.
  • Because grooming is a personal service performed on a living animal, completed grooms are generally non-refundable. If you are not satisfied with the result, contact us the same day at +1 (305) 858-8633 or corisgroomingmiami@gmail.com and we will do our best to make it right.
  • Refunds or adjustments on product purchases (such as gift cards) are handled as described in Section 6.

8. Your Responsibilities as a Pet Parent

  • Your pet must be current on rabies vaccination. We may ask for proof.
  • Please disclose any known health conditions, behavioral history, or sensitivities before the groom begins. This helps us take the best care of your pet.
  • Cori's Creative Grooming is not a veterinary office. We do not diagnose, treat, or examine pets for medical conditions. If we notice something during grooming that concerns us, we will let you know — but that is not a diagnosis, and you should follow up with your veterinarian.

9. Limitation of Liability

Cori's Creative Grooming takes every reasonable precaution to keep your pet safe and comfortable. However, grooming involves handling live animals, and unexpected reactions can occur. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Cori's Creative Grooming is not liable for pre-existing health conditions that become apparent during or after grooming.
  • Our liability for any claim related to a grooming service is limited to the amount paid for that service.
  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website — including text, images, pricing, and branding — belongs to Cori's Creative Grooming. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute it without our written permission.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any pet or pet parent at our discretion, including for safety reasons or repeated policy violations. If we end a groom early for safety reasons, you will be charged only for work completed.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida and the United States of America. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website with the date it was last updated. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
